Rebecca Petersen, CPA

I serve as a managing director and leader in Redpath’s governmental service area, assisting clients with complex technical issues, new accounting standard implementation, audited financial statements, and accounting services. I work with a variety of governmental and nonprofit entities; cities, housing authorities, community development agencies, towns, special districts, charter schools, and nonprofits. I was at Redpath from 2005 to 2013, then spent several years as a city finance manager before returning to the firm in 2019, giving me a first-hand government perspective few advisors have.

Fun Fact: Before public accounting, I ran a childcare center and held an infant/toddler CDA credential. These days I love to travel. Australia was the last big family trip, Germany is next, and I usually have more than one currency in my wallet.
