Redpath and Company : June 11, 2024
Saint Paul, Minnesota (June 11, 2024) - Redpath and Company (Redpath) has hired Andrew Kizer as Managing Director to lead the Lender Services practice area. He will be tasked with helping lenders minimize their risk profile by providing objective collateral evaluations, field exams, and assurance services.
Kizer brings over a decade of experience in the commercial finance industry, having worked on the lender side and also as a third-party service provider to various lenders—giving him a unique perspective to deliver value-added client service.
As a project leader on the lender services teams for two national consulting practices, Andrew was responsible for internal training, go-to-market strategy development, and execution and management of multi-person engagements (both pre-loan and post-loan). He spent over 5 years as leader of the field exam department for one of the largest privately owned lenders in the nation, providing pre- and post-close diligence, managing and reviewing the reports of outsourced diligence providers, and working with the internal underwriting, portfolio management, and operations teams on deal structures.
The hire bolsters the existing Advisory Services service area and becomes the latest offering to be added to the firm’s consulting portfolio that already includes M&A Advisory, Accounting and Management Outsourcing, and Valuation Services.
“Bringing Andrew on board is a logical next step to diversifying our service offering to the marketplace,” said Joe Hellman, partner, and Advisory Services practice leader. “With our deep-rooted connections in the M&A industry, it was time to offer a premium quality service to a market that has historically been delivered inconsistent experiences. With Andrew’s commercial finance background, we think that uniquely positions Redpath to immediately be a leader in the industry through a robust, yet nimble, service delivery.”
Kizer states, “I’m excited to continue my career at Redpath. Firm leadership has established a very entrepreneurial spirit within the culture, and I look forward to growing the lender services practice and the firm as a whole.”
In addition to Kizer’s experience providing services to major, regional, and community banks, as well as specialty lenders, he has deep experience working with both private and publicly traded multinational borrowers in the manufacturing, retail, healthcare, staffing, energy, consumer products, telecom, logistics, metals, and agriculture industries.
Andrew earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
