Redpath Donates Computers to Minnesota Center for Book Arts

St. Paul, Minnesota (May 23rd, 2018) – Accounting firm Redpath and Company, Ltd. (Redpath) is excited to announce it has donated new desktop computers to Minnesota Center for Book Arts (MCBA) in Minneapolis, Minnesota for its administrative offices. Mark Gibbs, Managing Partner, and Cathy Lydon, Redpath’s Not-For-Profit Team Leader, visited MCBA and presented Amanda Kaler, Interim Executive Director, with the computers. Both organizations expressed the positive impact this donation will have on their individual missions.

“On behalf of MCBA, I would like to thank Redpath for their generous donation,” said MCBA Interim Executive Director Amanda Kaler. “Our mission and programming are unique, and they require upgraded technology to support them. Redpath’s investment in MCBA will better help us schedule field trips, create class schedules, design exhibitions, manage store inventory, and maintain our artist programs.”

"Giving back to the community is an important part of our corporate social responsibility initiative,” said Mark Gibbs, Redpath’s Managing Partner. “We also see the value in minimizing e-waste, and we were very fortunate to find an organization like MCBA that will be able to make great use of the computers.”

Minnesota Center for Book Arts celebrates the book as a vibrant contemporary art form, from the traditional crafts of papermaking, letterpress printing, and hand bookbinding to experimental artmaking and self-publishing techniques. Founded in 1985, MCBA offers book arts workshops and programming for artists, adults, youth, families, K-12 students, and teachers. MCBA is located in the Open Book building in downtown Minneapolis, alongside partner organizations The Loft Literary Center and Milkweed Editions. To learn more, visit www.mnbookarts.org.
