St. Paul, Minnesota (September 24th, 2018) – Certified public accounting firm Redpath and Company, Ltd. (Redpath) is proud to be a sponsor of the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Twin Cities (Cristo Rey) Corporate Work Study Program.
Cristo Rey is part of the nationwide Cristo Rey Network of 32 high schools that provide college preparatory education to young people who live in urban communities with limited educational options.
As a sponsor of Cristo Rey and their Corporate Work Study Program, Redpath is providing a student with professional job experience in order to develop real-world corporate and life skills. While the sponsorship covers part of the student’s tuition costs, Cristo Rey students fund part of the cost of their education by working five full days a month in local businesses and organizations, like Redpath, through this unique and innovative program.
“We’re excited to have the chance to work with an organization like Cristo Rey. It’s a great opportunity to support their mission by providing their students with the chance to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment so they can prepare for life beyond high school,” says Sarah Gengenbach, Director of Human Resources at Redpath.
